Organic light leaks shot on real glass, delivered as ProRes 4444 with a genuine alpha channel. Because the transparency is real, it composites in Normal blend mode and the bloom keeps its full brightness over your shot.

Light leaks are what happens when stray light hits film inside the camera body. They read as warmth, accident and nostalgia, which is why they keep coming back into fashion for music videos, travel films and anything that wants to feel shot rather than rendered.

This clip carries a real 12-bit alpha channel, so it goes on the timeline in Normal blend mode. That is worth knowing if you are used to leak packs distributed as flat video on black, where you have to reach for Screen or Add to knock out the background. Those blend modes also brighten whatever is underneath; with a true alpha matte the leak sits over your shot at full strength and your grade stays untouched.

Twelve seconds gives you room to choose which part of the leak you want. The bloom builds and fades several times across the clip, so you can slide it under a cut to land a flare exactly on the edit point.

ProRes 4444 decodes fast on a timeline and holds up through colour work, and it behaves identically in Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. No plugin, no effect, no render penalty beyond a normal video layer.
