Refunds

Short version: if a plugin does not work for you, write to us and we will sort it out, either by fixing it or by refunding you. We would rather lose a sale than keep money from someone who cannot use what they bought.

Your legal right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason.

For digital downloads there is an exception, and it is worth understanding before you buy: once you start downloading, that right is lost. You agree to this at checkout, because it is the only way to sell a file that cannot be given back. This is standard for downloadable software, not something specific to us.

So if you bought and have not downloaded anything yet, you can withdraw within 14 days and get your money back, no questions.

Once you have downloaded

The legal right no longer applies, but our own policy does, and it is simpler: if the product is broken, not as described, or does not work on a supported setup, we refund you.

Cases we treat as a refund without arguing:

A plugin crashes Final Cut Pro or fails to render, and we cannot fix it for you.
It does not do what this site says it does.
You were charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy.

What we will usually try first is to fix it. Most problems turn out to be a bug we can correct, and the Manager delivers the fix to you without a reinstall. If that does not work, you get your money back.

What is not a refund case: changing your mind after downloading and using the plugins, or buying for an editor we clearly state is not supported yet.

Subscriptions

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the period you are currently in, and you keep access until that period ends.

If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, tell us within a few days and we will refund it.

How to ask

Email hi@javi.link with the email address you used to buy, and tell us what went wrong. You do not need an order number, though it speeds things up.

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record, so the refund itself is issued by Paddle and goes back to your original payment method. That usually takes a few working days to appear, depending on your bank. You can also contact Paddle directly about a payment, and they will loop us in.
